As a tutor, I make it a point to help my students understand how important a strong foundation in education is to their success in the future. With this as a basis for our sessions, they become very productive.I began teaching early in life when one of my own teachers suggested I help other students gain my understanding of a class subject by working on it with them after school. I gained a lot of satisfaction when I realized the enormous impact I was having on their lives, and I have been teaching in some form or another since. In college, I taught and conducted workshops to help students understand the material in fundamental engineering courses. I am particularly skilled in standardized testing and enjoy assisting students with their performance in Math, Critical Reading, and Writing.I earned my bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with an emphasis on Systems Biology at Cornell University. Upon graduating I became part of a rotational leadership development program that afforded me the chance to learn more about additional industries and functional areas from colleagues around the world.In my leisure time, I teach dance, play music, and travel the United States and the world.
