Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree with a double major in History and Secondary Education from Susquehanna University. After graduation, I began teaching at the high school level, and in the past decade, I have served as a teacher for several different courses, including Political Science, European History, and U.S. and World History. During my time as a teacher, I have also earned two master's degrees from Wilkes University. The first is in K-12 Educational Administration and the second is in Instructional and Developmental Strategies. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarteners to high school seniors in subjects including geography, English, writing, editing, American and European history, and upper-level courses like AP U.S. History, AP Human Geography, and AP Comparative Government and Politics. I am a passionate educator, and I particularly enjoy helping students improve their writing skills. I take time to get to know each of my tutees, and since I know each student learns differently, I always develop a custom tutoring plan to help students successfully achieve their goals. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I serve as the assistant varsity football coach, and I also mentor student athletes in personal development.
